Victoria Cross Demanded for British Soldier

Comrades of a squaddie who saved the lives of up to 30 soldiers in Iraq have reportedly called for him to be given the Victoria Cross. After 24 months online and 25,000 visitors British Military Medals launches it's preview of a new re-designed web site. Apart from the new look we have also included information on many more medals, links to additional dealers and updated much of our existing information. Territorial Army Soldier Awarded Military Cross

A builder has become the first part-time soldier to be awarded the Military Cross since World War II. Kingsman, or private, Michael Davison's act of bravery came in his first military encounter with anti-coalition fighters just two months after arriving in Iraq. Queen Honours Teen Iraq War Hero with George Cross

The Queen has awarded the George Cross for gallantry to the youngest serviceman in its 44-year history. Trooper Christopher Finney, 19, was awarded the medal - the highest for bravery - for saving the life of another soldier while under friendly fire. Queen Approves New Medal For Iraq War

The Queen has approved the striking and award of a new medal to recognise those who took part in the recent war in Iraq. The medal design and ribbon has yet to be seen but an expected 45,000 will be ssued.
